Our client, a collection of modern apart hotels in Cape Town, is seeking a friendly and professional Receptionist to deliver exceptional guest experiences. You’ll be the first point of contact for guests, ensuring check-ins, check-outs, and interactions are smooth, welcoming, and memorable. This role is ideal for individuals who thrive in dynamic environments and have a genuine passion for hospitality. Shift work, including evenings and weekends, is required.
Provide outstanding guest service and ensure high satisfaction levels.
Welcome guests on arrival and manage efficient check-ins and check-outs.
Serve as the primary contact for all guest and client enquiries.
Respond to emails, messages, and phone calls promptly and professionally.
Manage bookings and process payments accurately.
Coordinate with concierge services and assist guests with requests or special experiences.
Collaborate with internal teams, including Guest Experience, Property Managers, and Operations.
Work closely with team members to resolve guest or operational challenges.
1–2 years’ experience in hospitality, reception, or customer-facing roles (advantageous but not essential with the right attitude).
Based in Cape Town and available for shift work, including evenings and weekends.
Strong empathy, emotional intelligence, and a guest-focused mindset.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Observant and attentive to guest needs and non-verbal cues.
Tech-savvy, organized, and detail-oriented.
Calm under pressure, solutions-driven, and proactive.
