The Health and Safety Officer is responsible for ensuring that all worksites comply with health and safety regulations, both physically and administratively. The role involves implementing health and safety plans, reporting and recording incidents, identifying workforce training needs, and conducting internal training as required.
Develop and implement H&S management systems across the group of companies in alignment with ISO management standards.
Generate Health and Safety Files for contract works.
Conduct risk assessments and implement control measures for all contract and emergency works.
Investigate incidents and accidents, providing advisory reports to the Compliance Manager.
Liaise with clients, principal contractors, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.
Perform compliance audits on contractors, site conditions, and H&S systems.
Lead H&S Committee meetings to address site-wide safety matters.
Conduct site inspections via online platforms and ensure timely action on findings.
Prepare and maintain all health and safety documentation, including:
Site-specific safety plans
Hazard identification and risk assessments
Fall protection plans
Method statements
Safe operating procedures (SOPs)
Emergency preparedness instructions
Ensure proper implementation of safety plans and procedures across sites.
Perform any duties within your skill scope to support efficient and safe site operations.
