Our client, a leading international company in the electrical manufacturing sector, is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Officer. The role supports the SHEQ Manager in ensuring all business processes comply with ISO 9000 quality standards and regulatory requirements. The position involves coordinating quality assurance activities, maintaining accurate records, and promoting continuous improvement initiatives.
Assist the SHEQ Manager in implementing and enforcing quality assurance policies and procedures.
Participate in internal and external quality audits, including audits by certification bodies.
Maintain and update quality registers, including deviations, change controls, and assessments.
Collaborate with Quality Control, Production, and Design teams to resolve quality issues and implement corrective and preventive actions.
Investigate quality-related complaints and non-conformance reports (NCR), recommending effective solutions.
Organize and deliver staff training on quality assurance practices and standards.
Monitor and report on key quality metrics and performance indicators.
Support continuous improvement projects to enhance product quality and operational efficiency.
Perform other duties as required by the SHEQ Manager.
Diploma in Quality Assurance or a related field.
Qualified auditor.
ISO 9001:2015 Quality Assurance System (SAATCA) certification.
Minimum 5 years’ experience in quality assurance, management systems, data analysis, and administrative support.
R35,000 – R45,000 CTC per month (depending on experience and qualifications)
