NBC Holdings, a leading player in South Africa’s employee benefits sector, is seeking a Senior Consultant to strengthen client relationships, ensure compliance with quality and timing standards, drive business development initiatives, and support the organisation’s overall profitability. This role focuses on client satisfaction, business retention, and strategic engagement with key stakeholders, including trade unions and employer representatives.
Develop annual plans for client engagement and service delivery.
Prepare and organize Trustee meetings, including agendas, pre- and post-meetings with relevant departments, and facilitating efficient meetings.
Present relevant information and manage action items and queries arising from meetings.
Compile and distribute meeting minutes.
Prepare financial information for year-end reporting and fund budgets.
Coordinate presentations of fund investment information.
Analyze existing employee benefit programs to identify opportunities for new business.
Lead new business initiatives, including tenders, quotations, and presentations.
Contribute to internal innovation processes to improve new business workflows.
Prepare and analyze new business quotations and propose adjustments as needed.
Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in consulting, employee benefits, or financial services.
Strong understanding of fund administration, employee benefits, and financial regulations.
Experience in business development, client relationship management, and stakeholder engagement.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to provide advice to Boards of Trustees and clients.
Strong customer service orientation, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Relevant Diploma or NQF 6 qualification; further studies advantageous.
FAIS compliant with RE5 certification.
